Meet the Team

Mr Kumar is our Deputy Headteacher and Year 2 Class Teacher. He also holds the roles of leading Science, PE and Pupil Premium across the school and is the Attendance Champion. Mr Kumar joined the school in September 2022, having previously worked as an Assistant Headteacher at an Outstanding School in Plymouth and is passionate towards strengthening the school’s community to enable it to flourish. Prior to moving to Plymouth from Shropshire, he has travelled across both South East Asia and South America. Mr Kumar’s hobbies include playing and watching football, as well as spending time with his wife and two children, George and Teddy.
